RedfleetStudios built the Notepad app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by RedfleetStudios

at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and

disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in

relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and

improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described

in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions,

which are accessible within the Notepad app, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Notepad does not require an account and does not ask you to provide any personal information to

use it. The notes and checklists you create are stored only in a local database on your device

— I never see them, and they are never uploaded to any server I operate. Note content is also

excluded from Android's cloud backup, so it stays on your device unless you choose to share a

note yourself.

Images you attach to a note are chosen with Android's system photo picker, which gives Notepad

access only to the pictures you select. A copy of each is kept in app-private storage on your

device and is never uploaded. Deadline reminders are scheduled and shown entirely on your

device; notification permission is requested only when you set a deadline. Home-screen sticky

notes show the note you choose, from data on the device.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), Google's consent form asks for your

choice before personalised ads are shown; you can change it any time in Settings > Privacy

choices.

The app uses two third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Google AdMob, to show ads, and Google Analytics for Firebase, to understand in aggregate how the

app is used (app opens, screens visited, features used such as "a checklist was created", plus

device model, OS and app version, country and a Firebase app-instance ID). Analytics never

receives the title, text, images or any other content of your notes. Notepad does not use

Facebook or any other third-party SDK.

Log Data

Notepad's own code does not collect log data beyond the feature usage events described above

(Google Analytics for Firebase). The third-party ad service (Google AdMob) used by the app may

collect data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP

address, device information, and general usage signals when it serves ads, governed by Google's

own privacy policy linked above. I don't have access to or control over what Google collects

for this purpose beyond configuring the ad units themselves.

This Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code (Google

AdMob) that relies on similar technologies, such as advertising identifiers, to collect

information and improve their services. You can opt out of personalized advertising through

your device's ad settings.

Service Providers

I may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:

- To facilitate our Service (Google AdMob, to show ads);

- To understand how the app is used (Google Analytics for Firebase);

- To provide the Service on our behalf;

- To perform Service-related services; or

- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to information

necessary to perform the tasks assigned to them (serving ads) on my behalf. They are obligated

not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Security

I value your trust in providing me your information, thus I strive to use commercially

acceptable means of protecting it. Because all note content stays on your device rather than on

a server I control, the practical exposure is limited to your own device's security. Remember

that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee its absolute

security.

This Service does not contain links to other sites, other than the ads served through Google

AdMob, which are not operated by me. If you tap an ad, you may be directed to a third-party

site or app. I strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of these external sites, as I

have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or

practices.

Children's Privacy

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally

identifiable information from children under 13. Because Notepad collects no personal

information as part of its own functionality, this risk is limited to what Google's ad services

may do; treat this as a starting point rather than a compliance guarantee for an under-13

audience.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page

periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by updating the "effective as

of" date below and posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and within the app.
